AWS launches a security service that validates, prioritizes, and patches code vulnerabilities automatically.

AWS announced general availability of AWS Continuum for code vulnerabilities on October 22, 2026, initially in US East (N. Virginia) and US West (Oregon) regions. The service uses AI models to confirm which findings are exploitable in a customer's environment, rank issues by business impact, and propose fixes as pull requests or automated patches. According to AWS, every remediation requires human approval before deployment. The service builds a context graph from code repositories and AWS infrastructure to assess attack paths and blast radius. AWS says autonomous remediation options are planned for a future release.
